About First
FIRST Robotics is an international competitive robotics organization. Students build robots with their team to meet a challenge set by FIRST. Students have six weeks to build a fully functioning robot, incorporating important STEM skills. During the FIRST season, 2,800 teams from all over the world compete in regional, state, and international competitions. The students call it “the hardest fun you’ll ever have.”
